Windfall - Movie Review

Windfall : Directed by Charlie McDowell SYNOPSIS: A man breaks into a tech billionaire’s empty vacation home, but things go sideways when the arrogant mogul and his wife arrive for a last-minute getaway. Windfall was a very pleasant surprise for me. When the pandemic started over two years ago, the film industry had to adapt to the times and with that came lots of films with small casts filmed in just one location. For a movie like that to be good is easier said than done and is mostly reliant on good performances for your actors. The performances here a great. Jason Segal is funny and quirky, Lily Collins is very reserved and emotional and Jesse Plemons is the ultimate crazy/snobby billionaire. Each of their performances contribute perfectly to the story. Speaking of the story, the script is incredibly tight and easy to follow, make this a very easy and pleasant watch.
